Today, November 1, is Karwa Chauth, a festival celebrated by Hindu women who fast for their husbands’ well-being. 

The moon is rising in West Bengal's Kolkata and Assam's Guwahati. On Karwa Chauth being celebrated today (November 1), the moon rise time in Guwahati was 7:22 pm and in Kolkata 7:46 pm. The moon will rise shortly in Delhi, Mumbai, Patna, Bangalore and other cities of India.
