International Bikini Day is celebrated on July 25. The day marks the invention of the swimwear in 1946 when fashion designer Louis Reard created the two-piece bathing suit. And its first debut was in Paris. This piece of swimwear was named after Bikini Atoll, where the US conducted atomic tests. From two-piece to a monokini, over the years the beach clothing has become very popular among beachgoers. And since fashion evolves, the bikinis also metamorphosed into various designs. So much that it went from being stylish to weird! While makers experimented with all shapes, sizes, and colours, there have been some creations which one would never even think of. The bikinis have not only gone beyond our wildest imagination, but some have also left nothing to the imagination as well. On International Bikini Day 2019, we look at some of the weirdest bikini designs ever made! This Bikini with ‘Hands’ At The Right Places Grabs Your Boobs…Along With Everyone’s Attention (View Pic).

This is a perfect choice for a beach party, dare we say? With the LED bikini, you not only take a dip in the waves but also light up the party scene, a bit too literally!

These lettuce leaf bikinis were sported by PETA activists to promote vegetarianism. And well, if going vegan is sexy, then for some so are these bikinis.

With a very Hawaiian appeal to it, the coconut bikini has been spotted on many cartoon characters. But someone made this tropical swimwear come to life.

Made with a very sustainable thought, these were a limited-edition collection made by New York designer Andrew Schneider. To make things more interesting, these solar bikinis were capable of charging a smartphone or a media player!

Looks like a perfect bikini for someone who's not out of her stuffed animal days.

While the Trump bikini is creative, we aren’t too sure whether the POTUS would appreciate his face splayed across on a woman’s behind… or would he?

CD Bikini

Someone went a little too far with reusing waste and thought of making a bikini with the CDs.

Tape Bikini

The Miami Swim Week show 2018 saw duct tape being modified into a swimwear. The stick-on swimwear trend was seen on the ramp and we are not sure how adhesive it might be in the beach waters!

Transparent Bikini

There have been several designs which have been made in a transparent fabric but Cult Gaia two-piece swimsuit, called the Shalese Bikini although transparent placed a nipple strip on the design, instantly attracting attention than needed!

These are some of the ridiculous bikini designs we found and we seriously wonder why were they even made? Also, the people who chose to wear these really love risque fashion.
