Mumbai, August 15: As India celebrates its 77th Independence Day today, August 15, more than 88 million people uploaded their selfies from across the country with the national flag. Over 88 million people uploaded their selfies with the national flag on the central government's Har Ghar Tiranga website till 12 noon today. The "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign has been run since Prime Minister Narendra Modi's fresh clarion call on Sunday, August 13.

Citizens from across the county can mark their participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga 2023 campaign by displaying the Tiranga (tricolour) at their homes and then taking selfies with the national flag and uploading it on the Centre's website at harghartiranga.com. Where To Upload Selfie With the National Flag?

On August 11, PM Narendra Modi in a post on X, said that people can upload their selfies with the national flag on the web portal harghartiranga.com. The home page of the Har Ghar Tiranga website shows an option to upload a selfie with the flag. The website also mentioned that 8,81,21,591 (88 million) selfies with the tricolour were uploaded by 12 noon on Tuesday. One can upload a selfie with the national flag on the Har Ghar Tiranga website and also with the digital Tiranga.

How To Upload Selfie With the National Flag?

  • Visit the official website of Har Ghar Tiranga at harghartiranga.com
  • On the homepage, click on the "UPLOAD SELFIE WITH FLAG" link
  • Now, enter your name
  • Next, upload the selfie with tiranga image by tapping the "Browse Files" button
  • Allow the portal to use your name and photo on the platform.
  • Click on "Submit"

The Har Ghar Tiranga website asks citizens to hoist a flag at their house from August 13 to 15. The three-day 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign to celebrate the 77th Independence Day will end tonight. Meanwhile, Independence Day is being celebrated with much fervour and gaiety across the country today. Earlier, PM Narendra Modi unfurled the national flag at the Red Fort in Delhi.
