1.5-day Ganesh Visarjan

The Ganesh Visarjan, which is done on the next day of Ganesha Chaturthi, is known as a half-day Ganesha Visarjan. It is also one of the popular days to perform Ganesha Visarjan. The devotees perform Ganesha Puja during the afternoon and take the Ganapati idols for Visarjan after Madhyahna, which is equivalent to midday as per the Hindu division of the day. Anant Chaturdashi 2023 Date

Anant Chaturdashi marks the last day of the ten-day-long Ganesh festival, and on this day, devotees bid adieu to Lord Ganesha by immersing (visarjan) his idols in water. Ganpati idols of big mandals (pandals) observe Ganesh Visarjan on Anant Chaturdashi. It is also called Ganesh Chaudas. This year, Anant Chaturdashi 2023 falls on September 28.
