  • Put a sacred thread called Janve on the left shoulder of the idol.

  • Ganpati can be brought home by devotees for 1, 3, 7, or 10 days.
  • Everything, including food, water, and prasad, should be served to the lord first because he is regarded as a guest.
  • Prepare a sattvic meal for the lord and then enjoy it after offering it to the idol.
  • After Ganpati Sthapna, devotees and their families should refrain from eating garlic and onions.
  • Never leave Lord Ganesha alone in the house. He ought to be accompanied by at least one member of his family.
  • Lord Ganesha must first receive aarti, pooja, and bhog before being immersed.
  • Avoid postponing Ganpati Sthapana, and adhere to the muhurat.
