Ganesh Chaturthi is a ten-day Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha. According to the Gregorian calendar, Ganpati Utsav is observed either in the month of August or September. The festival begins on Shukla Chaturthi which is the fourth day of the waxing moon period and ends on the 14th day of the waxing moon period known as Anant Chaturdashi.
