The month of Ramadan draws to a close and here comes the festival of Eid. Muslims around the world are all busy celebrating Eid al-Fitr 2018 with friends and family with a huge feast concluding the month-long fasting period. The sighting of the crescent moon marks the beginning of Eid and individuals gather in a mosque or an open field to offer special prayers and thank god for providing all the strength. After performing Eid ul-Adha prayer, everyone hugs each other as they wish Eid Mubarak. Twitterati too seems delighted on this festive season! This year, Eid ul-Fitr began on the evening of June 14 after the sighting of the crescent moon and it will continue till June 15.
