Today March 18, 2018 marks the beginning of Chaitra Navratri. The festiaval of Chaitra Navratri is celebrated with much fanfare in India. The festival, also known as Ram Navratri, is celebrated in the Chaitra month according to the Hindu calendar. The Chaitra month corresponds with the season of spring, so it symbolises joy and prosperity.
