Pune, February 22: Anganewadi village in Maharashtra's Sidhudurg district is famous for a temple of Bharadi Devi. Every year, a fair, also known as Jatra, is organised at Bharadi Devi temple in Anganewadi village. This year, the Anganewadi Bharadi Devi Jatra will be held on February 25. Thousands of devotees visit the village to attend the annual fair. Indian Railways have announced special trains for devotees.
Anganewadi is a small hamlet of Masure village. The Bharadi Devi (Earth Goddess) is famous for her wish-fulfilling (Navas) power. Her devotees express their wishes (Navas) before her and once the wish is fulfilled they come again for a Darshan (visit) to express their gratitude.
Here's the list of special trains for the Anganewadi Bharadi Devi Jatra:
1) Train No. 01157 Mumbai CSMT – Karmali One Way Special
Train No. 01157 Mumbai CSMT – Karmali One Way Special will leave from Mumbai CSMT at 12:40 am on February 23 (Saturday) and February 24 (Sunday). The train will reach Karmali at 01:30 pm on the same day. The train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim station.

2) Train No. 02006 Karmali - Mumbai CSMT One Way Superfast Special
Train No. 02006 Karmali - Mumbai CSMT One Way Superfast Special will leave from Karmali at 02:05 pm on February 23 (Saturday) and February 24 (Sunday). The train will reach Mumbai CSMT at 11:55 pm on the same day. The train will halt at Thivim, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Sindhudurg, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Khed, Roha, Panvel, Thane and Dadar station.
