The brands after Fenty received a hard pass from the audience simply because there’s not a lot left to do with makeup anymore and there are way too many brands already. While Selena’s brand looks promising with a lot more things in her line other than makeup, we cannot be sure how it fares with the audience.

Selena Gomez has joined the list of celebrities with their own beauty brands. Like we all needed another beauty brand! Selena has trademarked her name for a brand carrying beauty and hair products, makeup, body care and fragrances. Following the footsteps of other celebrities like, Rihanna with Fenty Beauty, Kylie Jenner with Kylie Cosmetics, and Lady Gaga with Haus Labaroties and Kylie Minogue with Kylie; Selena Gomez is ready to launch her brand. And her fans are beyond excited. After success in every field she’s tried, Selena is all set to try her luck in the beauty industry. She’s trademarked the name “Selena Gomez” on July 11 for a beauty brand containing various things. Her line is reported to have makeup, body care, skincare, fragrances, hair care products, incense and essential oils. Lady Gaga came out with her own brand called Haus Laboratories last month. The brand was heavily criticised and didn’t get the same response as Fenty by Rihanna. Fenty shook the beauty community to the core and the celebrities following the trend to launch their own brand expected the same reaction. However, the brands after Fenty received a hard pass from the audience. Simply because there’s not a lot left to do with makeup anymore, and there are way too many beauty brands already. While Selena’s brand looks promising with a lot more things in her line other than cosmetics, we cannot be sure how it fares with the audience. Selena has not confirmed anything yet.
