Remember Bella Hadid’s sky-high Alexandre Vauthier Couture at Cannes 2016 or Chrissy Teigen's wardrobe-malfunctioning insanely high slit gown at the American Music Awards. However, it’s Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie’s iconic black velvet Atelier Versace dress made her the queen of the leg slit. Thigh-high slit dresses have always been a hit on red carpets, and this risqué trend has got the ladies back home hooked. And one can understand the hype behind this ‘bold’ fashion as it has the power to instantly glam up a look. With awards season already started in the Indian entertainment industry, fans and fashion police are treated with a lot of sexy sky-high slit gowns. This week we had two big events – Zee Cine Awards 2019 and Indian Telly Awards 2019. We picked our five favourites – Hina Khan, Malaika Arora, Jennifer Winget, Kiara Advani and Malavika Mohanan, who show us how to wear a sultry-slit gown like a pro! Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Thigh High Slit is All That We Could Notice in this Picture Of Bebo With Her Gang!

1. Hina Khan at Indian Telly Awards 2019

Hina Khan is one of the stylish women on Indian television because she never ceases to amaze her fans. To attend Indian Telly Awards on Wednesday, the 31-year-old wore a metallic ombre gown from Lina Mane. The one-shoulder gown had a striking silhouette with a thigh-high slit, exposing Hina’s right leg. With a messy top knot, Hina was an eyeful of gorgeousness.

2. Malaika Arora at Zee Cine Awards 2019

In every sense, Malaika Arora made a head-turning appearance at the Zee Cinea Awards red carpet. After seeing the 45-year-old in the gym wears for the longest time, this red-carpet appearance of Malaika was long due. And she compensated it like a boss. She wore a red-hot Julien Macdonald, which boasted of sexy cut-outs, making the satin gown hotter. With silver stilettoes, red lips and retro-inspired hairstyle, Malaika is simply stunning.

3. Jennifer Winget at Indian Telly Awards 2019

Jennifer Winget is another TV girl who can give B-town stars a good run for their money with her sartorial choices. The 33-year-old too opted for a slit gown to make a dashing entry at the Indian Telly Awards show. Jen wore a romantic lavender ombre gown, which had a halter-neck and pretty floral details all over the gown, especially on its train.

4. Kiara Advani at Zee Cine Awards 2019

Kiara Advani is one name that’s regularly featuring in the ‘best-dressed list’, and there’s a good reason for it. The girl brings out the awesome combination of sweet and sexy in her appearances. She wore this shimmery yellow gown that has numerous risqué cut-outs to add more oomph to Kiara’s OOTN at the Zee Cine Awards red carpet.

5. Malavika Mohanan at Zee Cine Awards 2019

Malavika Mohanan is our most favourite girl of a lot to rock this thigh-high slit trend. The 24-year-old is wearing a Falguni and Shane Peacock creation, and oh my god, she is carrying it off so very well. The bronze-gold embellished gown with a decollete neckline and high-slit could have been quite a challenge but the Beyond the Clouds makes it such an effortless exercise. We love everything about Malavika’s look from the Zee Cine Awards.

So, that was all on how to slay a thigh-high slit gown perfectly like these beauties. With several awards night to take place in the coming weeks, we hope to see more exciting ways Bollywood and small screen stars rock this fashion trend.
