Whether it is his amazing character portrayal in movies like Padmaavat or his bold and intrepid fashion statements, the actor surely knows how to turn one’s heads. Recently, the actor was spotted outside Otters Club wearing a green skirt. Well, we are not surprised as Ranveer had already raised several eyebrows in the past when he had worn a skirt at GQ awards. Ranveer Singh was clicked wearing a simple white t-shirt with a green skirt, white sneakers and his red shades. The reason behind wearing a skirt was to mark the celebration of International Women’s Day. Ranveer is currently working on his next project, director Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. It was Zoya who insisted every member of the movie’s crew to wear skirts to celebrate the historic International Women’s Day. So, it was not just Ranveer but also the light boys and girls had to wear skirts and they did.

Looks like Ranveer Singh has inspired the versatile Irrfan Khan. Last year, for GQ’s October edition, the actor was seen wearing a skirt with a checkered skirt and a brown jacket. Irrfan won an award for his Outstanding Achievement in both Hollywood and Bollywood cinema. The actor had donned the skirt for the anniversary special issue of GQ magazine.

In Rajkumar Hirani’s political satire, PK, Aamir Khan displayed his creativity by wearing a skirt in one of the scenes in the movie. Aamir was spotted wearing a yellow ghagra, teamed up with a blazer and an old transistor around his neck.

In Sajid Khan’s comedy movie Humshakals, Riteish was seen wearing a skirt for one of the scenes in the movie. What was surprising that the actor had to borrow the skirt from his wife, Genelia D’souza. Well, Genelia must have never imagined sharing her clothes with Riteish.
We got to admit, the Bollywood male actors are surely establishing a trend in the industry. It takes a lot of guts and nerve to wear something unconventional. Kudos to all these celebrities. We hope that these actors create more such style statements and give the leading ladies of the industry a run for their money.
