Navaratri is a festive time and devotees do more than just worship Goddess Durga during the nine-day celebration. The festival is also a celebration of colours as devotees follow a code of colours for the auspicious nine days. The sixth day of Navaratri is all about soaking yourself in the green colour. From green sarees to lehengas to separates, you can don the festive look this  Navratri, inspired by some of the Bollywood beauties who always get it right. Navratri 2018 Colours to Wear During Nine Days Festival: Day-Wise List & Images of 9 Colours for Each Date of Sharad Navaratri.

On Friday, October 4, green colour will be worn as a part of Navaratri celebrations and here's how you can spice it up. We recently saw Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Taapsee Pannu rocking green shararas during their promotions. Chopra was seen wearing one that was heavily embroidered and looked gorgeous as she clubbed it with a lot of jewellery. Here's looking at Bollywood actresses who can help you pick the perfect green outfit for the day.

1. Ananya Panday

Green has many shades and pista green is quite a rare one at that. This Navaratri experiment with the shades of green. Take cues from Ananya's sequinned green separates. This look is not too loud and you won't look like you're overdressed. It also has a sexy vibe to it considering you can flaunt your toned midriffs.

2. Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon's green sharara is sure to leave you impressed. It's got spunk and when clubbed with funky jewellery, it can look perfect for the Navaratri celebrations. The actress was seen wearing oversized jhumkas with it and looked absolutely stunning.

3. Anushka Sharma

If you plan to wear a saree this Navaratri, there are many types you can choose from. One of our favourite green saree looks donned by a Bollywood actress is Anushka Sharma's. At an event, Sharma wore a gorgeous silk chanderi saree. Silk sarees are always the perfect option and go for almost every festival. They can be paired with minimal jewellery too, depending on the motifs. For the chanderi, we like how Anushka opted for small earrings and a heavier necklace. Navratri 2019 Home Decoration Ideas: Easy DIY Decor Tips to Brighten Your Home This Sharad Navaratri (View Images and Videos).

4. Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor's green Anamika Khanna lehenga looks amazing because of two things -- one that it has a high-neck blouse and second her choice of jewellery. While we don't expect you to sashay in designer wear at Navaratri events, you can choose to go for a high-neck blouse instead of the usual crop tops and club it with an embroidered skirt.

5. Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone's green Nehru-collar neck sharara with gold embroidery is simply stunning. Shararas are a great option for Navaratri this year and you could pick something similar to Deepika's look with a heavily embroidered dress with minimal accessories. The bottle green colour along with gold motifs stands out and is perfectly festive.

We hope you can take inspiration from these Bollywood actresses and put together an amazing look for the festival. This time when you step out for Garba/Dandiya, make heads turn with your stunning look on day 6, wearing something green.
