We are yet to see the first look of ever-gorgeous Manisha Koirala in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju, but she has caught our attention with her latest appearance. The 47-year-old actress, one of the finest to grace the silver screen in Bollywood put her best foot forward while attending the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards 2018 held in Mumbai. Manisha Koirala who won the ‘Most Versatile Actress’ of the Indian cinema award decided to go traditional for the prestigious ceremony. Decked up in black and golden Ritu Kumar saree, jewellery and flowers in hair, Manisha looked ethereal. She shared a number of pictures including close-ups, with parents as well as from the awards night.

The beautiful 1942: A Love Story actress who beat ovarian cancer in a tough battle displayed her love for fashion and looking glamorous. At the recently held Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards, Manisha was adjudged the winner of most versatile actress award and to receive it, and the evergreen star chose the most quintessential stylish outfit – a saree.

Draped in six-yard of sheer elegance, Manisha Koirala left us speechless with her fashionable moment. She chose a stylish black silk saree by Ritu Kumar with broad golden embroidery, which was then lined with maroon border. She teamed up her saree with maroon elbow length blouse (thank god, she ditched the routine pairing of golden or black blouse over black saree look).

Well, the above was about Manisha’s outfit of the event, but the show stealer was her hair, makeup and every accessory that accentuated her look. She paired huge jhumkas by Amrapali, and that’s it. The statement earrings were all that was needed to go with the saree. As for her hair, Manisha opted for a low bun that was adorned with a bunch of roses like gajra. Also, her makeup game was on point with bold eyeliner and falsies giving much definition to her eyes and the choice to go bold with red lips worked like a dream! After winning the award, Manisha Koirala was quoted saying, "I am greatly humbled and honoured to receive this award." Among the other winners were Akshay Kumar who won Best Actor for a Leading Role for Padman (Jury) as well as for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Bhumi Pednekar took the Best Actress Award for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Veteran actor Farida Jalal who received Saraswatibai Dadasaheb Phalke Best actress (Lifetime) award. Actress-director Konkana Sen Sharma won the Best Debut Director Award. Singer Armaan Malik was awarded the Best Playback Singer Male, and Neeti Mohan was awarded the Best Playback Singer Female.  On the work front, apart from Sanju, Manisha Koirala will be seen in Lust Stories, along with Jaideep Ahlawat. It will be aired on Netflix.
