Malaika Arora is undoubtedly the queen of red carpet appearances. The goddess turned the red carpet of Times Food Awards into a site of merriment in her bright yellow pleated gown. Needless to say, she rocked the gown so much that it would be super difficult for anyone else to try their hand in it.

For the Times Food awards, Malaika took a flowy pleated yellow gown from Iris Serban's collection. The gorgeous gown had a risque thigh-high slit which only a few (hint, Malaika) can pull off. She completed the look with golden strappy Jimmy Choo sandals. Considering how bright the look was, Malaika didn't bother to make her makeup lively. And that did work in her favour as it complemented very well with her appearance. She tied her hair up in a ponytail with just a bright red lipstick. Malaika shared pictures from the photo shoot on her Instagram. Check them out below.

Not just making appearances at award functions but giving vacation goals to fans is another such milestone that Malaika seems to have achieved. She is exceptional when it comes to making fashion statements and defending her way of life. Ever since Arora has been linked to Arjun Kapoor, trolls haven't taken a breather to stop mocking her. However, she couldn't care less.

Even recently when negative comments made their way to Malaika, she shunned them with utmost poise and panache. Sharing a picture from the Maldives, she wrote, Being happy is a choice and I choose to be happy... also I think happiness looks good on me... so, keep your opinions and your negativity to yourself and spare me your c**p. "#notinterested", "#toobusybeinghappy", "#notimefornegativity" Well, there are a lot of things people can learn from Malaika!
