Popular actor Luke Perry passed away in the wee hours at the age of 52 following a massive stroke a few days ago. The Riverdale star was hospitalised and breathed his last in Los Angeles. The news of his passing has come as a shock and several Hollywood stars have taken to social media expressing their grief on losing this Hollywood gem. Perry was last seen in the on-going series Riverdale in which he played the character of Fred Andrews, Archie's father. Back in the 90s, Luke rose to fame with his bad-boy heartthrob of Beverly Hills, 90210 character Dylan McKay. His charming looks and brilliant act made sure Perry was the sitcom star we were all waiting for.
Being a heartthrob in the 90s meant being on posters that colored the walls of several teenage girls. It was during this time that Perry often made it to several magazine covers. The actor will surely be dearly missed as Riverdale continues to screen. It was amazing to see Luke's journey from being a teen idol to appearing in a popular teen series today as a father figure over the years. The actor is survived by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancée Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, and his siblings, Tom Perry and Amy Coder.
