They say a woman looks the most gorgeous in a saree and we have Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu, Yami Gautam and Nushrat Bharucha giving us their validation. With a tall and lean frame, it becomes easier to justify the silhouette and our Bollywood stunners show know how to be a show-stealer. With so many prominent names stepping out to attend the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2019, we had an array of beautiful designs to seek inspiration from. What a WOW! Kajol Devgan Teams a Swimming Bustier With a Tassel Saree!

While Deepika clearly bowled us with her soft Sabyasachi creation, Yami left us wanting for more in her sophisticated organza pick for the night. Some brilliant sartorial moments coupled with their grace and charm, the night was completely devoted to being full of fashion wonders and no blunders. Let's elaborate a bit on all of 'em.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika's fascination for Sabyasachi designs continued as she picked a bright orange floral print saree for their latest outing. With her hair neatly tied in a bun and jewellery that didn't go beyond her pair of statement earrings, she kept her look extremely subtle but extremely elegant.

Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee Pannu's white embellished saree from the house of Falguni & Shane Peacock can't get dreamier than this! With intricate embroidery and delicate detailing, the saree looked like a miracle draped on a marvel.

Nushrat Bharucha

Nushrat Bharucha joined the bandwagon of Manish Malhotra's sequined saree lovers. After Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tara Sutaria and Bhumi Pednekar, Nushrat is the newest name to join the list of divas who are mesmerised with Malhotra's latest wonder.

Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam's nude coloured saree by Raw Mango is a delight - especially for the summer season to come. It's pale colour and light fabric make it wondrous for the sunny season and the floral motifs dispersed all over help it elevate the look further.

It was a delightful sight to see these beauties strut in style while ruling our hearts with their sartorial picks. Whoever said sarees are not meant for red carpet, should probably take some cues from our Bollywood stunners on how to nail it right.
