Kim Kardashian has been coming out with a lot of products lately. Unfortunately, most of the products are not being received well by the public. First, the KKW body makeup, and now, her new shapewear line called "Kimono". Yes, that’s right. Kim named her shapewear brand Kimono and people are obviously not happy with the name choice. Twitter and Instagram users have gone mad over this name and say the reality star has no regards for any culture. Jameela Jamil Comes for the Kardashians AGAIN! This Time, It’s Kim’s Turn.
Kim Kardashian just launched a look of her new product on Twitter and Instagram and people are already “cancelling” it. Her shapewear line is named “Kimono” and people called it cultural appropriation. What’s worse? Kim has trademarked the name Kimono. For those of you don't know, a Kimono is a traditional Japanese outfit. At this point, Kim is behaving like she absolutely does not care about anyone’s feelings and cares only about her brand and money. The backlash was severe and not even her stans have anything in defence for her this time. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star/actress has been accused of cultural appropriation multiple times before. People were enraged when the Kardashians took cornrow braids and shamelessly called it boxer braids, as if they invented the hairstyle. The youngest sister, Kylie Jenner was also under fire when she made the statement she was the one who invented wigs when wigs have been worn by African-American women for ages.
