Red is the colour of love. And just like love, it can be quite tricky. Especially, when it comes to fashion. The chances of getting a red saree on point is pretty slim, but our favourite divas make it such an effortless task. We are talking about Katrina Kaif and Mahira Khan. Both these ladies opted to go bold with the ed in their latest fashion outings, and kudos to them for pulling it off with such elegance and panache. First up is Katrina who was attending Umang 2019, an annual festival organised by the Mumbai Police. The 35-year-old wore a plain red saree but with a twist. It was a red draped pant saree, which had a shimmery embroidered border. The Bharat actress wore it with a matching blouse, a statement necklace, a huge ring and minimal makeup to complete her OOTN.

What we absolutely loved about Kat’s pant-saree was that it’s so difficult to differentiate from the regular nine-yards saree and is hassle-free. Yes, no more wasting time on trying to get the pleats in place or be in constant fear of a possible wardrobe malfunction or meeting with an accident. Next is Mahira Khan. While we do not exactly know the occasion behind her red saree moment, but does it really matter. The Pakistani beauty shared a picture of her wearing a gorgeous silk saree with a golden leaf print on its border. Pakistani celebrity makeup artist Adnan posted more pics of Mahira slaying in a red saree. On the work front, Katrina Kaif has a big movie release later this year. It is Salman Khan-starrer Bharat, which will hit theatres on Eid 2019. As for Mahira, the Pakistani beauty is shooting for The Legend of Maula Jatt that also stars Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malik.
