Award show nights and Bollywood fashion quotient is synonymous. B-town biggies put their best fashion foot forward at the red carpet and look their glamourous best. GQ Style Awards held in Mumbai on Saturday evening, witnessed a star-studded event. From Shandaar duo Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor, Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar to Nushrat Bharucha, who is riding high on success of her new film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle Kaif who is soon going to make her Bollywood debut, these celebrities surely stepped out in style and had the shutterbugs clicking like crazy.
Here’s a List of Best Dressed Celebrities Spotted on the Red Carpet
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt won the title of Most Stylish Woman at GQ Style Awards night. Returned recently after completing her shoot in Bulgaria for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt was seen wearing a pink chiffon gown by Nedret Taciroglu. The actress donned neutral make-up and finished her look with a sleek up-do and pink ankle-strap platform sandals.
Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar won the GQ Legend award and the stylish actor was seen experimenting with his look. He teamed up a black tux with military pants. Talk about taking risks when selecting his movies or stepping out in style with his offbeat and eccentric choice of outfit, Khiladi Kumar surely knows how to do it right.
Huma Qureshi
Huma wore a black floor-length gown by Gaurav Gupta. The uplifting feature of her sleeveless gown were two mauve ruffles – on the shoulder and the middle – that added a pop of colour to her look. She tied her wavy hair into a pony and her neutral mauve make-up complimented her outfit.
Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor won the Most Stylish Man award and the actor looked his dapper self in a Rahul Gandhi-Rahul Khanna layered outfit. To his overall basic look, he added elements of quirk with a shiny navy-blue shirt he wore under the suit and similar toned shoes from Trumpet shoes. He also had a long scarf loosely hung around his neck. Shahid’s edgy attire made him look rad in style.
Nushrat Bharucha
After the grand success of her film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Nushrat was beaming in a shiny all-black floor-length ball gown with floral embellishments. She completed her look with a sleek bun and a pair of diamond earrings.
Jim Sarbh
Garnering a lot of acclaim for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, Jim Sarbh’s shiny, unconventional tux seemed a manifestation of his quirky personality. The debonair looked spruced in a salt and pepper beard.
Isabelle Kaif
Soon to make her debut in Bollywood Isabelle looked elegant and chic in an off-shoulder gown. She rounder her look with dewy make-up and pink lipstick. She left her wavy tresses open and flowing.
We certainly missed actors like Ranveer Singh who always makes a statement with his bold and daring sartorial choices for red carpet events. Director Karan Johar was also seen missing from the limelight. Apart from these, other actors we spotted were Rahul Khanna, Rahul Bose, Surveen Chawla, Arundoday Singh, Purab Kohli, among many others. GQ will be celebrating its 10th anniversary later this year in October.
