While we don't know where Deepika Padukone left for last night at the airport but we can tell for sure that we loved what she wore. She wore a military green ensemble with a black leather jacket in one hand and a brown leather beauty on the other. The look was as basic as it could get and it did earn her some extra brownie points for snazzy airport fashion. Sure, it didn't have the pizzazz of Sonam Kapoor's Mr India Rheson tee or Karan Johar's extra monochromatic look but it did click with us.

Besides, with a million dollar smile that compliments the look, what could go wrong? The actress has a reputation of taking her fashion choices a bit too extreme and not in a good way. Nope, not Lady Gaga-esque or even Ranveer Singh-ish but rather irksome to the senses. However, when she dumbs down her style to the most basic looks, she definitely rocks it.

Not just this airport look but earlier this month when she returned from her Canadian vacation with beau Ranveer, the actress wore a killer white jumper paired with white pants and rounded the look with Lennon glasses. If reports are to be believed then by the end of this year, Deepika will be a married woman. She has been going strong with Ranveer Singh for the past five years and apparently is all set to tie the knot in November. In fact, she has turned down a few projects for the same.
