Captain Marvel UK Premiere: Brie Larson And Samuel L Jackson Ditched Their Superhero Suits For Stylish Ensembles And Rocked The 'Blue' Carpet! (View Pics)

The first red carpet event of Captain Marvel took place in London on Wednesday. Present at the red carpet or rather blue carpet event was the entire cast and crew of Captain Marvel. Brie Larson, who plays the lead protagonist Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, ditched her superhero suit for a flowy blue Maison Valentino gown. She may have ditched the red and blue suit of Captain Marvel but she definitely had essentials of the same on her gorgeous blue gown.

In case you were unable to notice, the gown actually has the essence of a cape. Brie in the custom Valentino Haute Couture blue gown with hints of peek-a-boo cutouts to the sides and a slit looked every bit sublime. The cape, especially, draped down as a nice accessory to Larson's flamboyant gown was unmissable. All in all, Brie Larson looked too good for words! Her stylist also agrees as she captioned the picture of Larson, "I seriously have no words to express my awe and gratitude to @pppiccioli and his incredible couture team at @maisonvalentino for creating this gown (with cape!...photos to come) for Brie. It is perfectly Brie and Captain Marvel combined."

Even Samuel L Jackson matched to his co-star and partner in, well... fighting crime, as he donned a stylish chequered grey blazer with a black tee and white pants. His look was completed with a black beanie and glasses. Gemma Chan was also present, who donned a lovely red gown for the blue carpet while Jude Law kept it too simple with his white pants and a black velveteen zipper jacket. Captain Marvel is set to release on March 8 in India. There is a lot that is being spoken of the upcoming Marvel film. Right from the speculation of how the film will give the audience an idea of what to expect in Avengers: Endgame to the post-credits! Of course, not to mention how this is Marvel's first female-led superhero standalone film. So it deserves all the fanaticism!
