Met Gala is known for its expensive tickets, exclusive guest list and extravagant outfits that are based around a different theme each year. This year, the theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination showcased how Catholicism has influenced fashion throughout history. Nevertheless, it is the most controversial theme ever hosted by Met Gala. The Met Gala 2018 marks the event’s 70^th anniversary and will be co-chaired by Amal Clooney, Rihanna and Donatella Versace.
