The Ambani’s threw a private pre-engagement party for their son Akash Ambani and soon-to-be daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta. The two are set to be engaged on Saturday, June 30 at the Antilia, Ambani residence in Mumbai. The who’s who from the Bollywood industry will be seen at the party and the ceremony will be hosted by none other than Shah Rukh Khan, who is also reportedly going to perform at the engagement party. For the pre-engagement party Shloka looked beautiful with mehendi in her hand, all set to be engaged with her boyfriend Akash Ambani. And Akash’s twin Isha looked gorgeous in a pink lehenga.
No soon did the celebrations started, photos of the Ambani’s surfaced on the internet. The ceremony was a closed-affair and was attended by friends and family only. Although, from Bollywood Priyanka Chopra looked refined in Tarun Tahiliani couture saree and the actress also shared a picture on her Instagram congratulating the couple. She reportedly attended the party with rumoured boyfriend Nick Jonas.

The bride-to-be Shloka opted for a traditional lehenga by ace designer Anamika Khanna. She wore a combination of navy blue and white for the event. She kept her hair open with light curls at the end and donned subtle neutral makeup with a pink lipstick. Her look was simple yet elegant. Shloka looked elated as she does a happy dance, flaunting her mehendi in a boomerang video.

Meanwhile, Akash’s twin sister Isha Ambani looked splendid in pink and white Tarun Tahiliani outfit with bandhani print with heavy golden print embroidery for the party and was all smiles when she posed for the camera. She also kept her makeup neutral and styled her hair in middle-partition and loose curls at the end. Simplicity at its best. Earlier in May, Isha Ambani was proposed by Anand Piramal, son of billionaire Ajay Piramal.
Earlier this month, Mukesh Ambani’s wife Nita Ambani visited the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to offer prayers and presented the engagement invitation card to Lord Ganesha to seek his blessings. The wedding will reportedly take place by the end of the year in Mumbai.
