Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta got married on March 9 in a lavish wedding in Mumbai. The marriage ceremony and the reception was attended by popular Bollywood personalities, global leaders and politicians among others. The Ambani and Mehta family hosted the couple's Mangal Parv ceremony on Monday followed by a grand reception. Akash and Shloka look simply amazing together. The bridegroom looked impressive in a heavily embroidered red bandhgala kurta while the bride looked beautiful in a pink lehenga with silver embroidery. Outfits of the entire Ambani family has been under the scrutiny of the fashion police and they have managed to impress everyone at every single appearance. Meanwhile, Nita Ambani's outfit at her son's marriage had also garnered eyeballs. She looked beautiful in floral printed lehenga twinning with her husband Mukesh Ambani who wore a kurta with the same print. But what caught attention was 'Shubhaarambh' written on the back of her choli with names of her son and daughter-in-law 'Akash' and 'Shloka' on the sides.

One of the highlights of the post-wedding bash was Maroon 5's Adam Levine's performance for the guests. Akash is Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's older son and Shloka is diamond merchant Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta's daughter. The power couple had an elaborate pre-wedding ceremony in St. Moritz, Switzerland attended by the Who's Who of Bollywood among others.
