Punjab is caught in the lethal tornado of drug abuse and the worst victim of this are the youth and teenagers. According to statistics, over 7) per cent of the youth in Punjab are addicted to some form of drugs. A concoction of drugs aka 'Chitta' in Punjab is very common amongst the youth of Punjab. It is a synthetically produced combination of heroin and ecstasy, LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) and methamphetamines.
Punjab's drug problem was pointed out in the movie, 'Udta Punjab' where a fair share of the blame for this problem was laid on the rappers and singers glorifying drugs. No real solution of Punjab's drug problem has been found yet because the goons selling drugs are too clever for the law. What solution do you think will help solve this issue?
