Stockholm, April 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the NRI community at the Stockholm University. Nearly 1000 members of the Indian diaspora had gathered to hear the speech of PM Modi.
The Prime Minister's address was focused on highlighting the steps taken by his government in the past four years to improve the global perception of the nation.

PM Modi is on a state-visit to the Nordic region - comprising of Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Denmark. The Prime Minister attended the first India-Nordic Summit co-hosted by India and Sweden. The participating nations vowed to deepen strategic and technological cooperation with India.
"The Prime Ministers pledged to deepen cooperation between India and the Nordic countries and focused their discussions on key issues related to global security, economic growth, innovation and climate change," a joint statement issued after the summit said.
"They acknowledged that innovation and digital transformation drive growth in an interconnected world, which underpin a growing engagement between India and the Nordic countries," it added.
