Video of Offender Parading Naked in West Delhi: Family Cries Foul Play, Police Denies
The accused's family members have accused that the police purposely took the long route, so as to humiliate him.
New Delhi, May 22: The police have paraded an offender naked in Delhi's Inderpuri last week. Two video footage has surfaced, one in which the offender tries to escape from his two-storey house in a towel as the police came to arrest him. In the second video, police officers are seen taking him naked through the locality.
According to a report on Times of India, the family members of the accused, against whom there is 31 robbery, and bootlegging cases has said that police wanted to take revenge with him for the trouble they had to undergo to nab him, and that is the reason, he was made to parade naked. However, Police have denied any foul play, and said accused created the scene to trouble the police, and create unnecessary chaos.

According to an ANI report, Deependra Pathak, PRO, Delhi Police said, "Non-Bailable Warrant was issued against him. When he saw us he tried to escape. While he was trying to escape, his towel fell. We caught him & took him in our van where he was given clothes."
Reportedly, the accused's wife and family members, were running behind him with clothes, but according to them, police didn't allow. They have also accused that the police purposely took the long route, so as to humiliate him.
