Teachers’ Day 2018: Bharatpur District Education Warns Teachers of Salary Deduction If Absent From State Govt Function on September 5

Rajasthan, August 30: September 5 is celebrated as Teachers' Day all over the country, and usually on this day, cultural activities are held to thank teachers for their dedication. Students plan this day well in advance to surprise their teachers on their special day.

However, according to a recent ANI update, Bharatpur district education officer has issued a directive, where they have warned teachers that salaries will be deducted if teachers are not present in a state government function on that day. The intention is to make the programme successful and see to it that all the teachers are present for the function. Teachers' Day is celebrated on the day when Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born. He was a philosopher, scholar, teacher, and politician and his dedicated work towards education made his birthday an important day in the history of India. He was an extremely friendly and popular teacher and students wanted to celebrate his birthday. In return, he requested them to celebrate this day in respect for all the teachers.
