Akbaruddin, during the UNSC meeting, rebutted the argument of Chinese envoy Zhang Jun who alleged that human rights are being grossly violated in Kashmir.
The Indian envoy denied the charges of excesses being committed against Kashmiri civilians, adding that the restrictions, which are temporary, have only been imposed in view of the security threat posed by cross-border terrorists.
