New Delhi, July 11: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is the most followed woman leader in the world and she occupies the seventh-spot in overall ranking, according to the study released by Twiplomacy. Swaraj has 11 million followers as per the list.
US President Donald Trump tops the chart with 52 million followers and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the third most followed leader on Twitter with 42 million followers. PMO India's account occupies the fourth place in the list with 26 million followers.
In the list of the 50 most influential world leaders, PM Modi occupies the 11th place with an average 2k tweets/retweets. In the same list, Sushma Swaraj occupies the 34th place with 835 tweets/retweets. King Salman from Saudi Arabia is the most influential world leader with 154k tweets/retweets, followed by Donald Trump with 20K tweets/retweets.
Among the 50 World Leaders with most interactions, Sushma Swaraj features in the list, occupying the 20th place with 2 million interactions, and Narendra Modi at the second spot with 52 million interactions. Swaraj gets frequently attacked by trolls, but she handles it like a boss, and we love it.
