Subramanian Swamy Says 'Shashi Tharoor Can't Go Out of India to Meet His Girlfriends in Various Parts of the World'
On Tuesday, Tharoor had moved an anticipatory bail plea in the same Court.
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor in connection with the Sunanda Pushkar death case has been granted an anticipatory bail by Delhi's Patiala Court. The latter will have to furnish a bond of Rs 1 lakh. The Court further said that he cannot travel abroad without the Court's permission and can't tamper with the evidences and witness.
Speaking to ANI on Tharoor's bail, Subramanian Swamy said, "Yes, he can't go out of the country and see all his girlfriends in various parts of the world. There is nothing for Shashi Tharoor to celebrate. He is not in Tihar jail, he can sit with Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, they are also bail-wallas."
On Tuesday, Tharoor had moved an anticipatory bail plea in the same Court. The following day, Patiala House Court had reserved order Tharoor's bail plea, and the Special Investigation Team (SIT) had opposed his plea plea in the Patiala Court. On June 5, a special Patiala House court summoned Shashi Tharoor in connection with Sunanda Pushkar death case.
