Sita Was a Test-Tube Baby? UP Deputy CM, Dinesh Sharma Claims Technology Was Present in Ramayana Era
He even drew a parallel between Narad Muni and search engine Google.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma is back in the news for another absurd comment of his. He said, "People say Sita ji was born from an earthen pot, which means at the time of Ramayana, a concept similar to test tube baby must have existed." He further went on to say, "Today, live telecast is being done, but I think a similar technology was present at the time of Mahabharata, when Sanjay presented a 'live telecast' of the battle of Mahabharata to Dhritarashtra."
A day prior, on the occasion of Hindi Journalism Day, speaking at an event he said that journalism began in the Mahabharata era. He even drew a parallel between Narad Muni and search engine Google. He has been quoted as “Your Google has started now, but our Google started a long time back. ‘Narad Muni’ was the epitome of information. He could reach anywhere and transfer a message from one place to another by saying ‘Narayana’ three times.”
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb a few months back made a similar comment, where he said that internet existed during the Mahabharata era. Deb commented at a public event saying that ancient Indians used internet and satellite technology millennia before these were invented in the west.
