Shoot Rohingyas, Bangladeshi Illegal Immigrants if They Don't Leave India Respectfully, Says Telangana BJP MLA Raja Singh
Raja Singh added that the country will become safe once Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants are eliminated.
Hyderabad, July 31: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Raja Singh on Tuesday made another controversial statement by saying that Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants should be shot dead if they refuse to leave India. Raja Singh added that the country would become safe once Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants are eliminated.
"If these Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants do not leave India respectfully, then they should be shot and eliminated. Then only our country will be safe," Singh, who represents Goshamahal Assembly seat in Telangana, said. He was reacting to the draft of National Register of Citizens (NRC) published yesterday only for Assam.
The Centre on Tuesday said that the Army has been deployed to stop Rohingya Muslims' infiltration into the country and has also directed the states not to let them spread. "The Border Security Force (BSF) and the Assam Rifles are deployed to stop further infiltration of the Rohingyas," Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh told the Lok Sabha during the Question Hour.
