Mumbai, August 17: A senior official at the Charity Commissioner's Office has alleged sexual harassment against a senior colleague. According to a Mid Day report, in her one-page complaint letter on July 7, the victim- a 40-year-old victim has alleged that her senior colleague demanded sexual favours from her. Reportedly, when the woman didn't pay heed to his advances, he started harassing her. Earlier this month, she stopped going to office as well.

The woman has said that police have recorded her statement twice, and have not registered an FIR against him yet. The man is very influential and have allegedly sexually harassed other colleagues as well. In her allegation, she has mentioned that, the accused monitors activities of women employees via CCTV cameras installed in the office.

Police are trying to verify the veracity of the allegations. The accused has denied the allegations and according to the report he has been quoted as saying, "It is ridiculous. The allegation is wild and baseless. She herself is facing allegations of the graft; hence, her judicial power had been withdrawn. These are just pressure tactics to settle the score with me for taking action against her wrong deeds."
