Mumbai, July 6: The key Indian equity indices opened on a flat note on Friday amid weak Asian cues. At 9.19 a.m., the broader Nifty 50 of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) traded at 10,745.65 points -- lower by 4.10 points or 0.04 per cent -- from its previous close of 10,749.75 points.

The barometer 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), which had opened at 35,543.66 points, traded at 35,601.57 points (9.19 a.m.) - up by 27.02 points or 0.08 per cent -- from its previous session's close of 35,574.55 points.

Sensex has so far touched a high of 35,577.13 points and a low of 35,532.21 points during the intra-day trade.
