School Teacher from Gujarat Kidnapped and Gang Raped by Ten Men in Jetpur Hotel

The main culprit identified as Brijrajsinh Jadeja, a 23-year-old man raped the woman twice and also provoked others to carry out the crime

Gujarat, July 3: In a shocking incident, a private school teacher from Gujarat was reportedly kidnapped and gang-raped by men in a hotel room near Jetpur.  According to a news report in The Times of India, the victim was accompanied by a male friend and the two were talking to each other on a railway over bridge. At that time, a gang of 10 people started clicking pictures of the duo and heckling them to pose. Later one of the members of the gang forced the victim to sit on his bike, after which she was taken to hotel Vraj, about two kilometres away from the town, where she was raped.

As per reports, the police have arrested ten people in the case including the hotel manager who sheltered the accused in the hotel room and allowed the rape to take place. The manager identified as Harsh Humbal, a 20-year old also raped the woman.

The police have filed a complaint against the accused under rape, abduction and illegal confinement. The reports mention that the victim's friend was tied in the hotel room and thrashed, due to which he has suffered severe injuries on his body.

The traumatised woman approached Jetpur taluka police station late in evening after the incident and lodged a complaint. After that, the police traced the accused and arrested all of them within a few hours.
