Mumbai, July 17: Malishka the renowned Mumbai-based radio jockey, known fondly as Mumbai chi Rani, has come up with one more meme highlighting the grim picture of Mumbai's bad roads like she did last year. In her new video, she has slammed the civic body for leaving the island city in shambles. The video features the popular Marathi film song "Zingat" from Sairat, on which the RJ is seen dancing and mouthing the lyrics that say, "Mumbai Geli Khadyaat" or "Mumbai has fallen in a pothole." Figuratively, the lyrics mean that "Mumbai has gone to the dogs" since so many roads in Mumbai are in a bad condition.
In the song, Malishka has lambasted the authorities for their civic negligence and has tried to portray the pain of Mumbaikars, singing how their heartbeats increase when the city receives heavy downpours. She also sings how in a span of just a few hours, the entire city gets waterlogged and how pothole-ridden roads have been giving people back pain.
Here is the video released by RJ Malishka on Mumbai potholes:

RJ Maliksha previous year also in a similar manner accused the BMC of their civic apathy stating, "Mumbai Tula BMC Var Bharosa Nahi Ka" which means "Mumbaikars Do You trust BMC Anymore?" The video soon became viral as several netizens shared similar videos highlighting different issues of Mumbai city. She was also trolled by Shiv Sena Corporators, claiming that the video was made to gain publicity and also to paint BMC in a poor light. Furthermore, the Sena councillor also created another video to slam her.
After Sena's tit for tat reply, it drew a lot of flak from Mumbaikars. Several netizens criticised the Shiv Sena-led BMC for their failure to provide good roads. They also slammed the civic councillor who seemed more keen to accused the RJ of making a video over Mumbai roads than doing anything constructive.
The recent video posted from the official Twitter handle of MyMaliskha is doing rounds on social media platforms, including WhatsApp. The video has received a lot of appreciation, and at the same time, it is also bringing public attention towards the misery of city.
