Jaipur, June 16: A head constable in Rajasthan suffered a heart attack and died while he was competing in a race for his promotion. Sushil lost his breath during the race in Jaipur on Friday and died moments later. The race was cancelled after the incident and the Superintendent of Police rushed to the hospital.
According to reports, Bharatpur resident Sushil Kumar was taking part in the physical examination for constables' promotion at Jal Mahal in Jaipur. He was taking part in the race that was scheduled for Friday and collapsed in the middle of the race. Police officials present on the spot provided him primary medical care following which he was rushed to hospital. However, he lost his life before reaching the hospital.

DCP Gaurav Srivastava told media channels that the primary cause of Sushil Kumar's death was heart attack.
