In a shocking case of violence, a popular radio jockey was hacked to death in the recording studio around 2 am in the night in Thiruvananthapuram.
Thiruvananthapuram, March 27: In a shocking case of violence, a popular radio jockey was hacked to death in the recording studio around 2 am in the night in Thiruvananthapuram. According to a report in The Times of India, Rajesh alias Rasikan Rajesh, who was 36-years-old, was killed in his own studio. Rajesh was with a friend in the studio when this crime took place. Rajesh was also a mimicry artist and folk singer who owned a sound recording studio at Madavoor.
According to the report, Rajesh was accompanied by a friend and had returned from an event and was keeping the equipment back in the studio. This is when some assailants who had reached in a red Maruti Swift car attacked both Rajesh and his friend with sharp and deadly weapons. Both of them were rushed to the hospital by police. The local residents had heard noises and complained to the police.
Rajesh used to work with Red FM as an RJ before he had joined Voice of Kerala FM station in Doha. He had recently returned from abroad and had joined a mimicry troupe. Rajesh is survived by his son and wife. Police said that investigations are on in the case.
