Pune: 236 Engineers Fired for Taking Mass Leave by ZF Steering Gear India

Pune, October 30: ZF Steering Gear India, has terminated 236 employees on the back of a month-long mass leave, from December 2, 2017, to January 1, 2018. According to a report on Auto Car, these group of engineers had gone on leave, without any prior information, and without any good reason. Post this, the company started an enquiry and an officer was appointed to investigate the charges against the employees. All the employees have been paid their due amount under the provisions of law, and they have been terminated with effect from October 26 & 27, 2018.

ZF Steering Gear manufactures and supplies ball and nut integral hydraulic power and roller mechanical steering system at its plant near Pune. Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Volvo Group, AMW Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, are some of the clients.
