Zahirabad constituency is one of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of Telangana. The election was conducted on April 11, 2019, as per the Phase 1 schedule.
The results of the Zahirabad Lok Sabha Constituency will be declared today. The counting of votes began on the Parliamentary seat in Telangana at 8 am on Thursday, May 23. Voting took place for the Zahirabad seat in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 11. A total voter turnout of 62.69 per cent was recorded, as per Election Commission of India. The political parties have declared candidates for this Lok Sabha constituency. The Indian National Congress has declared K Madan Mohan as its candidate. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi sitting MP BB Patil will be re-contesting from the seat. The BJP has fielded Banala Laxma Reddy.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, BB Patil of Telangana Rashtra Samithi won from the seat with 5,08,661 votes. He was followed in second and third by Congress Suresh Kumar Shetkar, and Telugu Desam Party's K.Madan Mohan Rao.
2019 Lok Sabha elections will take place crosswise the nation between April 11, 2019, and May 23, 2019. While polling will take place in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the general election results will be announced on May 23.
