Yeti Footprints Sighting Takes Political Turn, Akhilesh Yadav Says 'Achhe Din More Elusive' to Target PM Narendra Modi
Reacting to the Army's tweet showing pictures of Yeti's footprints, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted: "It seems that ‘Acche Din’ are more elusive than the Yeti."
Lucknow, April 30: After the Indian Army claimed that it has found traces of the mythical Himalayan monster, Yeti, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav used the claim to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Reacting to the Army's tweet showing pictures of Yeti's footprints, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted: "It seems that ‘Acche Din’ are more elusive than the Yeti."
Akhilesh Yadav's tweet was an apparent dig at PM Narendra Modi and BJP's patent slogan "Achhe Din Aane Wale Hain" which was used by them in the run-up to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Earlier today, the Army claimed that an expedition team sighted the "mysterious Footprints of mythical beast 'Yeti'" at the Makalu Base Camp in the Himalayas. The Yeti is an ape-like creature, much taller and bigger than an average human. Akhilesh Yadav Calls BJP 'Bhagti Janata Party', Says 'Congress Betrayed Samajwadi Party'.
Akhilesh Yadav's 'Yeti' dig at PM Modi:
"For the first time, an #IndianArmy Mountaineering Expedition Team has sited mysterious footprints of mythical beast 'Yeti' measuring 32x15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on April 9, 2019," the Army's Additional Directorate General of Public Information tweeted late on Monday. "This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past," it added. Akhilesh Yadav and Wife Dimple Have Net Worth of Rs 37 Crore Combined, Says Former UP CM’s Lok Sabha Election 2019 Affidavit.
Akhilesh Yadav meant to say Yeti footprints have been found but "Achhe Din" are nowhere to be seen. His latest salvo comes close on heels of his statement made earlier Tuesday that PM Modi should be “banned for 72 years” for his “shameful” speech. He was referring to PM Modi’s claim in West Bengal that 40 TMC MLAs were in touch with him as he attacked chief minister Mamata Banerjee's ambitions of becoming PM.
"Vikas is asking: Did you hear the shameful speech of Pradhan ji? After losing the trust of 125 crore countrymen, he is now confined to posing unethical faith in so-called party-changing antics of 40 Bengal MLAs. This is not him but the mentality of black money speaking in this way. For this, he should be banned for not 72 hours but for 72 years," the SP chief tweeted.
