Yeddyurappa submitted a memorandum to the governor:

According to reports, JD(S) workers pelted stones at Gowda’s residence in Hassan over a remark he made against ex-PM HD Deve Gowda in an audio clip. The voice in the audio clip is believed to be Gowda’s. He could be heard telling Sharangouda that Deve Gowda would die soon and Kumaraswamy was unwell and the JDS would be history soon.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, state CM HD Kumaraswamy released the audio clips alleging that Yeddyurappa tried to lure the MLA to topple the Congress-JD(S) government. However, the former CM rubbished these tapes as fake" and "a concocted story".
