Yamunanagar, December 19: The counting of votes for Yamunagar Nagar Nigam Election 2018 took place today. The results for four other Haryana Municipal Corporations - Rohtak, Panipat, Hisar and Karnal- were also declared on Wednesday along with two Municipal Committees. While the BJP was seen winning all five mayoral posts, the party lost on all wards of Jakhal Mandi and Pundri Nagar Palika. Voting for the Haryana Municipal Elections 2018 took place on December 16. A total voter turnout of over 69 percent was recorded in Haryana civic polls. Meanwhile, results were also declared for two Municipal Committees (Nagar Palika) - Jakhal Mandi and Pundri in Haryana. The Haryana civic polls come almost a year ahead of the Haryana Assembly Elections 2019.
