The Times Now-VMR opinion poll has predicted that BJP will be able to make a significant gain in West Bengal while in Bihar, it may be losing a couple of seats this election. In West Bengal, the Times Now-VMR opinion poll says that while the BJP may get 9 seats, the TMC will lead the state with 31 seats. It says the Congress may be able to get only two seats in the state while the Left may get none.
In Bihar, the pre-poll survey predicts that the BJP-JDU alliance is likely to get about 29 seats while the Congress-RJD combine may be able to get only 11 seats, gaining just about 1 seat since 2014.
In Assam, the NDA is likely to win 8 seats while the Congress may get 4. In Odisha, the opinion poll says, that the BJD is set to suffer a setback. The BJP is likely to win 12 seats in Odisha while the BJD may come down to 8 and the Congress may get only one.
In Jharkhand, the BJP is seen losing five seats and may end up with seven seats while the Congress may also get seven, a gain of five seats since 2014.

Voting for the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 is set to take place on April 11 in 91 constituencies of 20 states. Polling for Parliamentary Polls is set to take place in seven phases between April 11 and May 19.
