The Time Now-VMR opinion poll has predicted that the Congress-JDS alliance may not be able to do wonders in Karnataka while the two national parties may not be able to hamper the hold of regional parties in AP and Telangana. In Karnataka, the Times Now-VMR pre-poll survey has predicted that the Congress-JDS alliance may only be able to get 12 out of 28 seats. It has predicted that the remaining 16 seats are likely to be won by the BJP.
In Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP is likely to win 20 seats, a huge gain of 14 seats since 2014, says the opinion poll. It adds that the TDP could win the remaining five seats in the state. For Telangana, the survey has predicted that the TRS would win 12 seats while the Congress may get 2. The BJP is not likely to get any seat in Telangana as per the pre-poll survey.

Overall, the opinion poll conducted by Times Now-VMR predicts that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to win 279 seats, seven more than the halfway majority mark in the 543-seat Lok Sabha.
Voting for the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 is set to take place on April 11 in 91 constituencies of 20 states. Polling for Parliamentary Polls is set to take place in seven phases between April 11 and May 19. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana would go to polls in the first phase of General Elections. Karnataka will witness a two-phase election and will vote in the second and third phases.
