A total of 17 wickets fell on Day One of the India vs Australia 1st Test 2024. Batting first India managed to put 150 runs on the board with Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc destroying the Indian batting lineup. Jasprit Bumrah returned the favour and took four wickets in India's reply. Visitors are in control at the moment but Alex Carey holds the key for Australian first innings.

As expected, Bumrah bowled perfect line and length in his first over and created trouble for the newcomer despite getting hit for a boundary. Mohammed Siraj is also doing his best to pick up early wickets.
