Chandigarh, October 18: With just three days remaining for the assembly elections in Haryana, renowned Bollywood actor and Gurdaspur Lok Sabha parliamentarian Sunny Deol on Friday appealed to the people to remember the date of polls and exercise their democratic right in favour of BJP. He requested the people to vote in his own filmy style, by recalling the famous dialogue of 'tareek pe tareek'.

Addressing a gathering in Hisar, Sunny Deol said, "Tareek pe tareek, tareek pe tareek, par 21 tareek ko yaad rakhna, kamal ke phool ka button dabana hai,nahi toh ye 2.5 kg ka haath jab uthta hai toh kya hota hai? Earlier in the day, Bharatiya Janata Party's Lok Sabha parliamentarian from Meerut -- Hema Malini -- on Friday appealed the voters to vote for BJP. The saffron party's star campaigner stated that during the Narendra Modi government's rule, India is in safe hands and asked the voter not to think of supporting any other party.

According to the ABP News-C Voters opinion poll survey, BJP might win 83 seats, while Congress would satisfy with three seats this time. The voting for 90 seats would take place on Monday, and the results would be announced on Thursday, along with Maharashtra Elections.
