Counting is underway in Telangana.


Telangana Assembly Elections 2018 election results will be declared today along with four other states. The counting of votes began at 8 am. Vikarabad: Gaddam Prasad Kumar who won from the seat in 2009 and 2008 has been fielded by Congress. Raipally Sai Krishna and Methuku Anandh are faces of BJP and TRS respectively. Check Vikarabad live updates here.

Tandur: Sitting MLA Patnam Mahender Reddy who has won from the seat four times has been fielded by TRS. Panjuguia Pilot Rohith Reddy and Patel Ravi Shankar are the faces of Congress and TRS in the constituency. Check Tandur live updates here.

Malakpet: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen's (AIMIM) Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala who defeated BJP's B Venkat Reddy in 2014 is the face of AIMIM this assembly election too. This time, the main political fight is between Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and Congress who have formed a grand alliance along with Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Communist Party of India (CPI) and M Kodandaram’s Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) called the Maha Kootami.
